Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. Impossible to explain how magnificent it was. I can't imagine experiencing a glacier any other way. Climbing the glacier made the experience extra special. Grant and Abby were the best! They made the adventure special by explaining everything and even taking pictures of us. Thank you Grant and Abby for a great day!

Very few people actually get to view a glacier in Alaska from a canoe, let along walk on it. We are so happy to be able to share the beauty of the Mendenhall Glacier with you. Thank you.

This excursion is AMAZING! My group of 6 did this with guides Micah and Grant, and it was incredible. After getting outfitted with gear (not cheap gear, but good gear. North Face, REI, etc...), they make sure you are safe and comfortable with what you are going to do. We were lucky to have sunshine and beautiful weather, which also meant strong winds. The canoeing out to the glacier was not only beautiful and fun, but also informative. Once we got to the Mendenhall glacier, the experience became surreal. Hiking on a glacier is a once in a lifetime experience for most people. We are so glad we did it! This was a port excursion that we took advantage of due to our cruise making a port stop in Juneau, and after the cruise is now over, this was by far our favorite stop. Micah, Grant, and the entire Liquid Tours team...Thank you, and well done!! We hope we have the opportunity to do this again!

Amazing is the perfect word to describe this Alaskan adventure and we our honored to be your favorite stop- thank you. We outfit our guests in the same professional gear that we wear as quality and comfort is important. The glacier is always changing so please come back and visit us!

My family of four (50/50/20/17 year olds) went on this tour in late June. We were lead by Ryan and Joey, and they were outstanding guides. They had our safety as foremost in mind, followed by education and adventure. The canoeing was not overly exhausting, although we went on a calm day. The hiking was moderate intensity, but the scenery was breathtaking. A must-do to experience the glacier itself.

We love the words "Ridiculously Outstanding" to describe our tour and we are elated that your family enjoyed it. What an incredible memory to have with your children. Thank you.
