Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

We went as a group of 10. Our guides (one was Andrew..I don’t remember the other name. Oops!) were great! They were very knowledgeable and really friendly. It was an awesome experience. I would recommend this to anyone.

Ryan and Alli were our amazing guides, they give us clear instructions and were very supportive all the time! We've an amazing adventure in the glacier and paddling was fun. We highly recommend this experience!

08/11/2018: Ryan & Moe were excellent guides for our 2.5 mile group paddle and hike up on to the Mendenhall Glacier. They provide great instructions, glacier information and allowed us to have a great experience on the glacier. I would take this tour again.
