Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

We had an outstanding trip and would definitely do it again. Everything was provided and instructions were given clearly. Safety was the primary concern. Casey and Andrew were very knowledgeable and lots of fun. Very Stoked!!!

Had an amazing trip with Ali and Ryan (though Ryan’s dad jokes need to improve). We paddled a canoe with 14 others to the glacier then climbed up, with crampons, to see spectacular views it. Ali and Ryan educated us about glaciers and looked after us so well. We’re in our mid-sixties and had no problems at all. Highly recommend this tour, a very rewarding experience and suitable for all ages. Live a little and talk about it forever. Thanks Liquid Alaska Tour for an amazing day. Now please send Ryan for some singing lessons 😂😂😂😂

This is a no-brainer, as you can tell by previous post, this is an amazing experience. This outfit does not work with cruise ships, so you must find this excursion on your own outside of the cruise ship excursion listing. It is well worth it. This was by far the high-light of our Alaskan cruise that was filled with a ton of highlights. A must do, and well worth the money. A true once in a lifetime experience you will remember forever. Thanks Ryan and Matt for a great trip.
