Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. We took this tour with Allie and Matt while on Juneau during a cruise, and it was hands down the highlight of the entire cruise. The guides were helpful, informative, and entertaining throughout the journey. The experience walking on Mendenhall was absolutely breathtaking. We were a little bummed that there weren't any accessible ice caves to see, but there were so many other cool formations that the guides found to show us. It was other-worldly up there. Words and pictures just can't do it justice.

Being from Hawaii, this is something we don’t see and to hike onto the glacier it was something to see. Matt and Ryan were great guides always mindful of everyone’s safety and looking for different formations for us to discover. Although the ice caves didn’t form yet for this season what we did see was great. Also, had our workout for the day so we can eat the buffet on the cruise ship with a clear conscious. Aloha and Ho’o laulima (working together). Mahalo
