My wife and I had a great time paddling out to the glacier and hiking around it. Could not have asked for a better pair of guides in Mike and Kevin. Safety was their number one priority, but ensuring everyone had a great time was a close second. They provided everything you needed to stay dry, but it wouldn’t hurt to wear waterproof gear of your own to double up. Paddling the canoe is a requirement, so do not sign up for this tour if you can’t see yourself paddling in excess of 2 hours. If you do decide to sign up, you won’t be sorry. The sights were amazing, and not many people get to say they walked around a 3,000 year old glacier.

We recently visited Mendenhall Glacier, this this amazing excursion took our breath away, seeing the how majestic this park made our experience incredible to see it up close. My family and I saw floating glaciers in lake, one glacier resembled a floating canoe. Seeing birds skimming the water, viewing the waterfall flow down on the right side of the mountain. Seeing a rainbow suddenly appear during our walk at one of the viewing points. Most of all, experiencing the peaceful and tranquil this place can be. Highly recommended this excursion and be there early as much as you can. Most of all, be prepare to have rain gear with you because the weather at the glacier is unpredictable, which can rainy cold.

We had an awesome time with Kelsie and Paul! They kept us entertained and informed the whole time. Our tour was much smaller than the ones from the ship. Even though we visited via cruise, we were happy to book direct with Liquid Alaska. We were here 10 years ago and did something different, next time we come, we will book with Liquid Alaska again!

We love when cruisers venture out to the ice with us! The difference of the Mendenhall must have been astonishing after 10 years! Can't wait to see you next time! Thank you for the great review!
