not anticipated to open until July of 2022.

Mesa Verde was the worlds first archaeological National Park and one of the first UNESCO designations in the U.S. The sites and ruins are greatly enhanced by a tour guides passion and knowledge of the area including flora and fauna, geology, native peoples and its historical archaeological record. There is a story and mystery at Mesa Verde that can't be obtained through sight seeing alone.

Our guide was not only super enthusiastic about where he was going to get to take us, but he was so knowledgeable about the site we were going to. Neal recognized that getting to go to the Cliff Palace was an extraordinary feat and worthy of exploring many different theories and explanations with respect and reverence. It is a significant benefit to have a guide and Neal is the best. Oh— and he is a professional photographer and we took home several Christmas card worthy photos.

It was very interesting with lots of history. Our guide Neil was awesome! Providing the story of the Pueblo people with great understanding of the research, facts and respect. He threw in some humor too! Enjoyed the tour.

The tour was awesome and Kristin, our guide was beyond awesome! So nice to see someone who obviously loves her job. …very knowledgeable as well as fun! The tour was so great! We even saw wild horses! Want to go back when we can actually go into Cliff Palace. All of the ruins were interesting and Kristin was great at giving us little “tidbits” of information! Thank you for a great tour for us and our kids and grands!!
