Beautiful scenery! Would highly recommend a guided tour. The Cliff Palace was amazing but know ahead of time that this trek is strenuous!!!! 102 very small sandstone steps with very few handrails to get to the bottom. To get out there are more rocky steps and three 8-10 feet log ladders that are straight up vertical!!

So true! The Ancestral People who lived here centuries ago certainly didn't have the conveniences we all take for granted today. Thank you for the review!

Our guide! Neil was amazing and I canā€™t imagine this being any better. Lots of knowledge and clearly still educating himself on the mysteries of Mesa Verde. Well worth it.
