Overview

Come along for an alligator adventure right in the park's center. Your airboat tour starts off by going down the canal, which offers many of chances for photographs of animals in its natural setting. Experienced guides offer tips to ensure you spot alligators large and small, as well as soft-shelled turtles and birds you will not find anywhere else.

After your airboat ride, do not miss the wildlife show where you can see alligator up close and learn how these reptiles made a dramatic recovery to be removed from the endangered species list. At the end of the tour, you have the opportunity to hold a baby alligator and collect your FREE souvenir photo.

It took almost 1:30min to reach the boat area. All the way the driver kept reminding us to give a tip, suggesting 15% (do they not pay their staff? ) the airboat ride was fun (but again touting for tips) but way too short. When booking the trip we specifically requested one that didn’t have captive animals but guess what the alligators were in an enclosure and they did ‘tricks’ with them and then showed a baby alligator whose photo you could take for a further $3. Big bus have turned their staff into beggars! Another 1:30 to get back to south beach meant that out of a 4 hr trip less than 30 mins was in the Everglades.

When booking I had the options to book for 9:00 or 9:30, with pickup options from both Miami Beach or Miami. I opted for 9:30 to give myself time to work out Miami Beach public transport. I arrived at 9:20, only to find that the Miami Beach collection was ONLY at 9:00 - even though I booked for 9:30 (Miami city is 9:30). This was not made clear, and was certainly NOT mentioned on my ticket. Fortunately I could go with the 2pm trip, however this did stuff up my schedule for the day. Also the check in location was very confusing (two different addresses) - turns out that someone meets you at the bus stop. The tour itself was good, but not the booking process.

Was terrible booked through yourselves and the pick up time yous had provided was half an hour later than the original pick up time. So didn't make it to the experiece which was a let down. Requested a full refund as we couldn't make the later one as we had a flight to catch back home. So won't book through yous again. Terrible experience worst company ever.
