What To Expect

Key West

Pick up: Depending on your location this will range from 6 to 7:30 AM. Make sure you are OUTSIDE of your hotel/pick-up location 5-10 minutes prior to the time stated. Get comfortable while you travel to the Keys and across the Overseas Highway in our well-maintained coach bus with the tour guide speaking about Key West's rich history and culture. Arrive in Key West around 11:30 AM. Explore and experience Key West for 6 hours. See the town for yourself by walking through the streets. Everything is within walking distance! We give you a map of the city so you can handle your way around. Leave Key West around 5:30 PM and get back to Miami around 9:30 - 10:45 PM (depending on the traffic and the drop-off location).

Seven Mile Bridge

There are two bridges in this location. The modern bridge is open to vehicular traffic; the older one only to pedestrians and cyclists. The older bridge, originally known as the Knights Key-Pigeon Key-Moser Channel-Pacet Channel Bridge, was constructed from 1909 to 1912 under the direction of Henry Flagler and Clarence S. Coe as part of the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension, also known as the Overseas Railroad.

Southernmost Point

Key West is famous for being the southernmost city in the continental United States. When you visit, it's essential that you make it to the southernmost point on the island, found at the intersection of Whitehead Street and South Street.

US 1 Mile Marker 0

An interesting landmark for US highways. Mile marker zero notes the start of the highway for the US.1. The US.1 stretches from Key West, Florida, more than 2,000 miles to Fort Kent, Maine, not far from the United States-Canada border. The highway connects several major cities along the eastern seaboard such as Boston, Washington, D.C., and Portland, Maine. It’s also commonly referred to as the Overseas Highway in Florida, as it stretches out across the Florida Keys.

This trip is a BARGAIN. I am staying near Miami and Key West is over four hours away. I was thrilled when I found this bus opportunity. The price is excellent, given the amount of driving and the time I got to spend in Key West...6 hours. I’d recommend sitting in the front, as the bus windows are tinted. Hard to take pics through the tint. ✨ The bus I rode in did not have a place to charge my phone. Keep that in mind...especially if you want to take pics in Key West. Even on low power battery, my phone died! The bus was clean and I was picked up EXACTLY (to the minute!) as scheduled. This is a LONG day. Some kiddos went and were well behaved but everyone was exhausted. I was gone 15 hours. Worth every second. Sleep on the way home...too much to see on the way there. Enjoy!

This offered pick up at the hotel that arrived as expected. Breakfast was not happening like I first got informed about but took place already after boarding the bus that would take us to Key West. No stops where planned for the trip down there. The bus was clean and quite comfortable, but the outlets did not work and the AC was set very low so it was very cold in the bus. The guide provided good information about points of interest and also about some of the activities that could be booked in Key West. The road down was amazingly beautiful and we arrived around 11 am. Key West was very nice with a relaxing atmosphere and lots of things to see, experience and do. Bus home went back on 5.15 as scheduled, could have wished for a later departure to be able to be in Key West during the sunset. To summarize, a good, informative and convenient way to get to experience Key West.

The tour to key west was nice except of one of the buses. Rattling windows which I had to fix temporarily with a card and the ac poured water over me. Also the seats were broken. The back rest of the seat was moving all the time. The tour guide on the first run was good. He explained all activities you can do in key west. The driver in the home bus had a bad driving style. In both buses, the driver had set the ac to full power. If you like rattling windows, a/c with pouring water over you, a deep frozen ride and a bad driving style, it’s good. Otherwise I recommend to use your car.
