This is a gem of a food tour that is not to be missed! My family spent a memorable evening with our guide, John, who took us on a fantastic culinary adventure through Midtown Atlanta. The tour was informative, fun and the eats were outstanding. If you have 3-4 hours and want a taste of some of the best local food and drink-- this is the tour for you!

Thank you, C., for the wonderful review! Lots of "firsts" on your tour occurred but only because you asked: C. - Would you consider a 7:00pm starting time for my family? Me - Sure! How many folks? C. - There are 4 of us. Me and hubby and our 2 kids...one is 7, the other 12. Me - Oh-h-h-h...Wow! With those ages, how about we make this a "Private" Tour for just your family? C. - Perfect!! And "perfect" it was!! Great kids always make for great fun...especially when somehow the 2nd restaurant "taste" was an ice cream cone!! Woohoo!! Let's do this again! Different restaurants! Different stories! But same ice cream!! My best to you and your family! John

This tour was absolutely the best food tour I've ever attended. The right amount of walking, history of Atlanta, the appropriate amounts of food/beverage, the perfect amount of enjoyment! John guided us through midtown, and provided lots of great info on historical sites and interesting tid bits about the real estate market. This is a great tour for visitors and people new to ATL. The food was fabulous, John and our group were always greeted with a smile by each bustling restaurant, and it is no wonder... John chooses carefully paying close attention to reputation of Chef, menu and atmosphere. I would recommend John and Peachtree Food Tours in a heartbeat and I look forward to following his business in the future!

Wow! That's a terrific review! Thank you, Traveler! You and S. were out for some Saturday afternoon fun...and there sure was plenty of that. Some pretty "fabulous" food, too! The next time you're in Atlanta, let's do this again! Lots of new restaurants on the horizon and as I type this, I'm working on re-engineering my Tour. No drastic changes...just adding a couple of yummy, funny (and historical!) pieces to the adventure. Eat. Drink. Learn. And have some more of that "fun"!! If I get to Houston, I'll give you a buzz. Jeri and I would love to spend time with a "local" guide! :) My best! John

Peachtree Food Tour is one that I give my highest reccomendation too. John has the plans laid to perfection. John is so delightful and entertaining. The tour is excellent because of his accomodating service. The timeing is very well planned, and the eats include high-end varieties of delicious foods and are accompanied with marvelous cocktails. It's hard to choose my favorite, but I did love the fried green tomato at one place and the lobster pasta at another, and the unique sweets are all heavenly. The walking ratio to eating was spaced perfectly. All the restaurants and eateries immediately seated us and had our food brought out,as John knew the employees and had pre-arranged it each time. The employees really respect John and dote over his tour group members like VIPs. We learned of the differnt foods and wine and beverages at each sitting.Yumm! When you finish each tasting the walk is refreshing and just long enough to get you siked for the next food pairing. You never feel tired of walking and always have room for more treats. I didn't want it to end but as I ate my last desert and wrapped one for later,I knew it was time. Our tour lasted about 4 hours and the time was such a leisurely delight. Above that, being coupled with John's charmingly fun personality and knowledge of the areas history make this a 5 star tour. As I said,John has it planned to perfection. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS! A GREAT VALUE-FOOD-AND FUN!

Thanks, Debbie!! Your review reminds me of what a grand time we all had on a beautiful Mother's Day afternoon! You were genuinely surprised...and I should say ecstatic...to have your daughter, sweet N.,show up unexpectedly to join us for our foodie adventure. Lots of food! Lots of fun! Lots of wonderful family time together! And thank goodness for the walking! Because my "tastes" are more like "portions", getting a stroll between restaurants is actually a great idea...and that also gives me time to tell some of the history of my neighborhood...only a little bit of which I make up! :) You don't live that far away so... easy enough to take another Peachtree Food Tour! I'll see if I can't get my sweet Jeri to tag along! My best!! John
