The tour was great fun and we recommend it to those who want to experience some of Midtown's finest and most fun places to eat. John is so much fun and also adds lots of history of the area to his tour. Don't hesitate to make time for this when you visit Atlanta. M & C

C. - (and M.), What a yummy way to celebrate! Who knew what fun a Food Tour in Midtown Atlanta (where?) could be!! I still remember M. getting out of the car, introducing himself....and then looking around. It was almost like...."Where are we that this could be a Food Tour?" As soon as I got him to the "World's Greatest Burger!", we were off to the adventure! Try more Food Tours but trust your TA reviewers. But....if the Food Tour doesn't sing to your heart, try a Cooking Class! Jeri and I do NOT cook so we don't take it as seriously as others. We just want a great photo of the two of us in aprons! Really! My best to you both!

This was my first food tour, and John of Peachtree Food Tours set a high bar for future food tours! I believe the best way to get to know a city is through walking it as much as possible. We visited six different eateries, but I won't spoil the fun and disclose those. What I will say is that John carefully researched each stop and worked with the restaurants to come up with some delightful pairings. The food and drinks were delicious, and I wish I had more time in Atlanta to revisit all of the places we visited. John's knowledge of Midtown Atlanta and its eateries is vast, and anyone can tell how much he loves his neighborhood. John is a born storyteller, and loves meeting new people and introducing them to new places and foods. My best friend and I were in town for a girls' birthday trip, and John made the trip even more special by surprising us with birthday candles and a song. Several of us on the tour had birthdays, and we all sang to each other with full, happy bellies. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves great food, lively stories, and impeccable customer service. After the tour, John emailed us with some photos and a thank you note. He even offered several recommendations for other places to visit in town, all of which were fabulous. John's tour made our trip!

Thank You, BRF! You and your "bestie" would have really worn out Atlanta if you had stayed well for your visit! I had a quick visual when A. said that she had been dragging you around town! It would have been a shame to have missed out on my little adventure in Midtpwn. All that food and all those drinks! All those grins! And I got a lot of great photos of you two that ended up on the Thank You email. Keep up the tradition of meeting somewhere in the USA for a girl's weekend! So many restaurants and so much fun out there! Just waiting! If you are looking for suggestions for next year, you know me...always full of ideas! My best to you both!

Our Guide John managed to squeeze me into an already fully booked tour after I basically pleaded to him to do so. Im so glad he did as I had the best day ever. John is very enthusiastic about the Midtown area and what it has to offer in History, Architecture and Food. Its his patch and he proud of it. All the food served was tasty and had a bit of a story behind it. The Shrimp and grits at Einsteins was amazing. The foods were nicely paired with drinks as well. We walked , listened and ate our way around Midtown for approx. 4 hours. I left doing this tour til my last day in Atlanta but would suggest to do it when first arriving as Johns knowledge will highlight other areas to visit during your stay.I plan to return one day with my Wife and I will certainly be taking her along for another walk around Midtown with Peachtree Food Tours.

j. - I am a softie when it comes to solo travelers! Tour was full, I said, "Sorry! I'm Sold out!", you said "OK", and then shot me a text message asking me to reconsider! Pretty funny! Pretty clever! So...off we went, all eleven of us, and it was a grand time. I enjoyed our strolling chats and ended up thinking how I might end up in Adelaide, me helping you start a Food Tour in your neighborhood! What fun that would be! If you need a push in that direction, showing off Adelaide, eating, drinking (and getting paid!), know that I'm just an email away. J. - You'd be a natural! Just do it! (PS - Thanks for the great review!)
