My husband highly recommend this food tour of midtown Atlanta. In our travels, we've discovered that food tours are a great way to learn about the history and culture of an area, meet some like-minded folks, and -- best of all -- try some great foods. The Peachtree Tour filled all our expectations and more. We visited some really special restaurants in the area and tasted some familiar foods and some completely new to me -- no spoilers here, but it's "Prohibited at Turner Field." John is an engaging fellow with an easy way of communicating lots of knowledge about Atlanta. We parted ways full of food, beverage, and Altanta lore -- with a special little take-home package. Thanks for a delightful day!

Olivia, Thanks for the review that was very kind AND did not give away my surprises! My experienced TripAdvisor reviewers get the "mystery" piece of my food adventure, never a list of each stop but rather a teaser ("Prohibited at Turner Field" is perfect!). You and C. were great sports in the midst of a delightful blend of folks. The next time you two are in Atlanta let's try the "Awesome Outdoor Dining" Tour. Different food! Same fun! And even more made-up stuff! (Sweet discounts for my return guests!) My best to you both!

Want an introduction to the fabulous restaurants of Atlanta? Look no further that Peachtree Food Tours. Recently, I had the pleasure of taking one of their tours, a birthday gift, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our guide John took us to a variety of places, sampling some wonderful food and regaled us with tales of the history of Peachtree Street. I've lived around Atlanta for a number of years and have driven on Peachtree Street many times but never really saw it. Walking around and eating delicious and varied cuisine on a beautiful spring day was perfect to really see the area and feel its ambiance. One of the unusual tastes we experienced was a burger sandwiched between two donut halves. This is not a Paula Dean disgusting version but a small amount of donut made in a nearby shop that gave the burger a slightly sweet taste. Some other treats with wine pairings were shrimp and grits with Riesling, fried chicken with Blanc de Blancs, and a kale salad with peanuts in Coke infused with bourbon. If you want an afternoon of fun, sampling an eclectic variety of cuisine, this is the tour for you.

W. - I'm thinking that the birthday gift you received for a Peachtree Food Tour was truly spot on! A great afternoon stroll, a "tasting and sipping" adventure, and a ton of history wrapped around stories...most of which I swear are true! I do appreciate your kind review and would sure like to have you back in my neighborhood...and soon. Let's try out the Awesome Outdoor Dining Tour! I am always thinking discount with my repeat explorers....particularly for those who are fairly well-behaved! My Best! John

I've lived in Atlanta for over 25 years and have never had the opportunity to experience a "food tour". What a great way to spend an afternoon an learn some history about Atlanta and the midtown area, in addition to tasting some delectable items from a variety of local restaurants. Such a variety of tapas from ribs, to a burger with a donut bun(really!) shrimp/grits, fried green tomatoes and more... Looking forward to hopping on this "afternoon delight" again soon with a group of friends and maybe my kids that are over 21. Thanks John, I had a fantastic time.

Libby, Thanks for the review! And an even bigger "Thank You!" for wanting to be part of the second "test" group for my new Awesome Outdoor Dining Tour! The "tastes and sips" were really spectacular, the restaurants were anxious to please us, and you eight women did as much laughing as dining! Your feedback makes me even more confident that this Tour option will be on equal footing with my very successful Classic Tour! I'm ready! Starts in May! Now to getting you and yours back into my neighborhood....so... let's have a family outing! When you book 8 folks, you can count on me for a sweet discount. (And I'll try to be nice to everyone!) By the way..... You looked the picture of health! You should know that! Always my best! John
