I recently took a Milwaukee city tour which was arranged through Untapped Tours. Our guide Mike, the owner, was extremely well prepared as well as knowledgable on the history of this great city. I would have never known that a city in the Midwest (Milwaukee) had such great history and architecture as well as a diverse ethnic population. Mike explained to us that this city was built by hardworking immigrants from all over the world. Mike took us to the only cheese making facility in Milwaukee for samples of cheese as well as a complimentary ice cream cone. Very fitting since Wisconsin is known as the Dairy State. I especially enjoyed the stop at a decommissioned lighthouse located on the shores of Lake Michigan. It was a perfect photo opportunity The mini tour of a microbrewery called Lakefront Brewery at the end of tour included beer sampling. It was a great way to end this tour. I highly recommend this tour of Milwaukee. This city truly is a hidden gem located in the Midwest.

I've recently went on Milwaukee's Untapped Tours and had an awesome time! The tour was a total of about 3 hours long and was a great way to see the city of Milwaukee. Our guide Mike was fantastic sharing a good amount of history without being boring, as well as mixing in humor and places to stop and take photos. I would recommend checking the weather, going in Spring you may want to bring along a jacket. In case it rains there were umbrellas on the bus. I've lived in the Milwaukee area most of my life, however I found out a lot of new information. Mike pointed out many interesting facts as well as hidden treasures I've never known about. The tour also included ice cream and famous Wisconsin cheese curd sampling which were both AMAZING from Clock Shadow Creamery. And one of our last stops was a mini tour at Lakefront Brewery which included their craft beer sampling and a souvenir pint glass which was also AMAZING! Our tour guide at Lakefront was Josh and he was excellent, he made the brewery tour short and sweet! Overall I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Milwaukee from out of town and to anyone who already lives in the Milwaukee area to learn some new information you probably didn't know! I love Untapped Tours!

It was a nice tour of Milwaukee. We enjoyed it very much. The stops and explanations were very good, so we got a good impression of the city and were able to take lots of photos. Please do not recommend Maders restaurant as a good German restaurant. It has nothing to do with German cuisine, is overpriced and has bad service.
