A brilliant night. The tour of the Maori village, the show and the Hangi meal were all really enjoyable. It was a very informative and entertaining evening and something not to be missed.

Having found it difficult to decide which Maori evening to go to I finally chose Mitai and my husband and I are very glad that we went to that one. Everything was well organised from the pick up at our hotel to the return after the evenings entertainment and everything that took place during the evening was excellent, from the appearance of the maori warriors coming down the stream in their canoe, to the uncovering of the hangi, then the cultural performance and finally the buffet meal. The energy and enthusiasm which the Maori's put into their performance was amazing and everyone enjoyed the show. We would thoroughly recommend this cultural evening and believe it to be the best of all the ones which are held in the area and this was confirmed by the hotel that we stayed at. I am sure there are other good shows but this one had so much variety in it including at the end a night-time walk in the bush to see the glow-worms. A great evening!
