What an experience! Great to see a haka in person! And glow worms in a forest. The hangi was brilliant too!

This is definitely worth it! I thought maybe I should skip it because I had spent sooooo much money in Rotorou but I am super pleased that I didn't. The guides were amazing! Their knowledge of the culture was in-depth and the performance actually made me cry. It made me feel all emotional to watch the special connection to tribe and family. Maori culture is beautiful. Also on the tour you get to see glow worms and this amazing sacred spring. I have never seen anything like it. It was like clouds dancing in crystal clear water. The food. Yum yum yummmmmmmmmm. So good and you will be super full! I mean the food was so so good. You get so much... lamb, chicken, sweet potatoes, salads, peas, corn, everything... really. Also the dessert was yummmmmmmmmmmmm. I would also advise you pay extra to see the kiwis. I saw one up really really close. I mean right there. right there! Plus if you take this option you can go to rainbow spins the next day for free. Highlight was the war canoe where you saw the canoe coming up the river with warriors plus the sacred spring was amazing. This tour is just fanstansic. Do it. Its great!

A fun way to spend an evening. The dinner was very good and the Mitai Maori program was really entertaining. If you are in the area I would highly suggest this experience.
