We had an awesome morning on the river on a HOT Moab day (got to be 107 degrees by the afternoon). A couple hours on the Colorado River was the perfect remedy. Our 5, 7, and 8 year olds had a blast and my husband and I thought it was a great way to take in the beauty of the area. Our guide, Roni, was fantastic. She was so patient with our children and brought great energy to the adventure. I would do it again!

I’ll start with saying that our guide was really friendly and made the experience of actually being on the raft enjoyable. The main reason for the 1 star is our horrific bus ride on the way back. Our driver was going extremely fast and swerving over the yellow lines. A bunch of people were complaining and one of the guides actually asked him to slow down, which he then started going faster. On the way out of the bus, we heard another customer tell the driver that he should slow down next time to protect his future customers and he very rudely told her to, “leave that on your TripAdvisor review” and then said “damn there are Karen’s everywhere.” Very distasteful and disrespectful. She was definitely not the only one complaining! Like I said, even one of the guides was asking him to slow down. It was a miserable bus ride that honestly ruined the entire trip. Luckily, toward the end of the bus ride, other cars/rafting companies were in front of us and slowed us down. As far as the rafting trip itself, it was quite boring, but we pretty much expected that and wanted relaxing. It should be called a float instead of rafting. Just don’t book this and expect “wild.” The preparation took forever from the time we got there and then finally made it to the river felt like 100 years and then we had to wait a good 30-45 minutes for the bus to pick us up when we finished. If the bus situation hadn’t occurred, I would’ve at least given 4 stars, mostly because our raft guide! I definitely couldn’t recommend this place if they are going to hire such horribly rude and dangerous drivers.

Mild to Wild rafting was a blast! Roni was a great guide with a lot of information! We had a family rafting with us, and she was so great with the kids! The half day was the perfect amount of time out on the water.
