What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We took the Monument Valley day tour and there were only two of us and another couple on the tour. It was excellent! Will Cowboy was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about Navajo culture. He took us to some of the regular sites and some locations that only tour guides are allowed to go to. He also entertained us with a Navajo song and a drum in a beautiful location which was magical! It was very easy to set up the appointment with Meisha Holiday by email. It was completed in minutes. We were so glad we did this tour instead of the self tour. We learned so much, we were able to go to restricted areas and we didn’t have to worry about driving on the rough road. I highly recommend a tour with Navajo Spirit Tours!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful experience. Anyone going to Monument Valley should treat themselves to a Navajo Spirit Tour. Our guide, Larry, was truly magnificent. We learned so much and had such an uplifting experience. It will stay with us forever.

Willie Cowboy was our tour guide and was both knowledgeable and entertaining with his stories. We highly recommend this guided tour as the roads are rough and I would not want to drive a private or rental vehicle along them.
