Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

I took a private tour and my guide Don showed up promptly. He was very knowledgeable of Monument Valley. He explained Navajo customs and showed me abandoned sites. Truly one of the best days I have spent in many months.

This was our only tour in monument valley so can't speak to the quality of any other tour but I can tell you that the Tear Drop Arch tour was amazing. Our guide Larson, obviously the best guide around, drove us through the amazing terrain of the valley. What I thought would be a pseudo off road tour ended up being a trek through a land time has forgotten. We stopped and hiked into hidden caverns and beautiful valleys. Larson told us he hiked these valleys since childhood and it was obvious he had because he knew every inch and every detail of the amazing history of this land. This beautiful place came alive to us as we squeezed through cavern walls, climbed over sandstone mounts and sat in a historic cave used by the Natives over 4000 yesterday ago. We also learned about the plant and wild life. We truly felt so connected and privileged to have been immersed in the land and culture of the Navajo. Larson made this a true once in a lifetime experience. To top it off, he shared a special treat with us that ended our journey in a very special way. If we ever come back, we will be looking for you Larson.

Four of us booked a private tour of Teardrop Arch in May 2019. It was a brilliant tour, made all the more special by the guide who taught us so much about the Navajo nation. It was a perfect way to experience Monument Valley away from the crowds of people. An unforgettable memory. Well recommend
