Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

It wasn't a particularly sunny day in Monument Valley, but the tour was still spectacular. We really enjoyed Larson's stories about the Navajo people and what the area means to them. History, culture and some great jokes made this tour special. I won't spoil it for anyone, but Larson makes the amphitheatre particularly magical.

One of the better tours I've ever been on. Sean was our tour captain and did an absolutely fabulous job. If you're there to just see rocks, you won't take much away as the real story is the people the live here and how they interact. Loved Sean's stories and cultural explanations of the Navajo way of life and i couldn't have been better. Thx much for this Sean

We had decided to do the 4 wheel drive enclosed tour as opposed to the open air one. My daughter had looked at these when we got there and wanted to do that tour, but she too was glad we opt for this one as it was sticking hot and quite dusty. Our tour guide was Don Mose who is one of the most informative guides we have ever had. He was so passionate in passing on the stories of his nation and the background of Monument Valley, that he had us mesmerized from the word go. There was so much history and interesting theories, and intriguing discoveries which he conveyed to us. Drawing pictures in the sand and showing us the pictographs on the rock walls, it was certainly one of the most empowering tours we had ever done. His stories were from his personal experience and very intriguing .. talking about where the Navajo people originated from. He also gave good tips on the best photographic shots. By the end of the tour, we felt he was a good friend, and we thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get Don.
