We observe Daylight Savings Time and are on Mountain Standard Time (UT). Please note the one-hour time difference between the Arizona Time Zone and the Navajo Nation Time Zone from mid-March to October.

What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

We meet our customers in front of The View Hotel building, 50 yards west of the Loading Area, where we meet about 15 minutes before your departure.

Monument Valley – Highway 163 Scenic Drive

Experience a breathtaking drive as we depart the Tribal Park and head onto Highway 163 South. Your guide will offer detailed information about the monuments and buttes along the route. The journey to Mystery Valley will take approximately 30 minutes.

Mystery Valley

As we cross the cattle guard and journey past the local family homes, we find ourselves enveloped by ancient ruins and arches left designed by captivating petroglyphs.

Monument Valley – Highway 163 Scenic Drive

Enjoy the scenic drive and ask your guide questions as they continue to narrate the tour.

Me and my partner went on the combination tour, which included the monument valley tour in the morning and the mystery valley tour in the afternoon. Steven was our guide for both tours and was an incredible guide - very informative and answered our many questions about the Navajo culture throughout. Highly reccommended!

We took the Monument Valley and Mystery Valley tour with Navajo Spirit Tours, and our Navajo Spririt Guide, Larry was wonderful. He is a traditional medicine man, so he was able to giv eus lots of interesting information on the local plants and their uses in curing ailments. The tour was excellent, and he also gave us lots of history and stories from the past. We got to see the ancient cliff dwellings and petroglyphs, none of which you'd see if you simply did the 17 mile drive yourself. We also say beautiful sandstone arches and had lots of time for taking photographs. I highly recommend this tour, it was fantastic!

Jeanne did such a great job driving us through the Mistery Valley. She was so welcoming, calm, and took the time to show us the best placesn and explain the history of each place that she took us to visit. The stories about Anasazi culture and Native American culture were so interesting and beautiful. We saw beautiful places and took amazing pictures. We visited quite a few Anasazi places as well saw so many Petroglyphs! Jeanne welcome us with a smile on her face and made us feel welcome. She took great care of us and ensure that our experience was as expected. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and I will remember for ever!
