Our guide was very friendly and well versed in Navajo culture and history. Going into areas not accessible to the public was very interesting. Experiencing the Sun going down was a highlight. I visited Monument Valley about 40 years ago. Coming back has been on my bucket list ever since. I highly recommend Safari Tours.

Bobby was a GREAT tour guide! He was very knowledgeable, patient, and helped us take great pictures! It was a wonderful experience! Hint: bring a face mask to wear on the open air vehicle. There is a lot of dust you will encounter!

I would highly recommend the Sunset Tour because the temps are cooler, there are less people around, and the colours are much more brilliant. We had 12 people (the max) on our truck, but there was plenty of space and lots of legroom. Our tour guide, Bobby, was excellent. He gave us some geological history, shared info about himself, and then explained what we were seeing with suggestions on where to stand for some interesting and fun pictures. My husband and I had done the scenic drive with our own vehicle the day before, but this was much smoother for one but also gave us a deeper understanding of the area. Almost all the stops are not open to regular tourists so sort of a behind the scenes tour. In my opinion, well worth the money.
