The tour provides an easy relaxing way to see the sights. The ā€œRoadā€ for the 17 mile drive is quite challenging. It is loosely packed with many ruts & hazardous spots. The guide is Navajo & can thoroughly explain the Valley history & legends. He assists with photographs, too! The ā€œbackcountryā€ area is NOT open to private vehicles. So you want to see the ā€œEar of the Windā€- up close? Book the tour!

The Sunset Tour is worth every minute. You must make the time to take this deep dive into the monument valley. This area is so much more than the Forest Gump highway shot selfie post. Do yourself a favor by taking this tour, and meet the monuments and learn about Navajo culture. If youā€™re lucky, you will have the pleasure of getting Bobby as your tour guide. Heā€™s such a special person as he guides you through the backcountry, sharing his knowledge and wisdom. The open air beach bumpy jeep ride is fun; Bobbyā€™s photo tips will leave you with plenty of great shots so youā€™ll always have memories of this extraordinary place. This diversion totally exceeded our expectations. Really, make the time to do this.

Bobby was amazing! He made the tour much more enjoyable with his knowledge and flute playing. If you ever visit Monument Valley, it's definitely worth doing the tourā€”you'll get to learn about the local people and their culture. By far the best tour we did on our 15-day road trip in the States.
