Bobby was our tour guide and I believe we were the luckiest tour group! He was armed with wealth of information about the geography, tribal customs and even played his flute at one of the stops. We left the tour with a greater appreciation of what we had experienced. Would recommend to anyone.

Our Guide Duffy was excellent. His knowledge of how the Navajo live in the area was extensive. The vehicles used are far better than standard 4x4 or SUV for handling the routes we got a detailed insight into Navajo life within the reserve. Open sided vehicles were not adequate for storm conditions.

Hi Rick! YƔ'Ɣt'ƩƩh! (Navajo greetings) Thank you for your detailed review! I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with Duffy! He certainly knows a lot about the area and culture. I hope the weather did not make things uncomfortable on your visit. Normally, our guides choose which vehicle to take if our customers do not have a preference. September is our monsoon season and the winds and rain can certainly make the tour uncomfortable if you are in one of our open trucks. Thank you for allowing our company to share in your Monument Valley experience! Safest of travels.

Our tour guide was Bobbie. We used Monument Valley Safari tour company. Bobbie was very personable and informative. He instructed us on how to take the best pictures of the various stops. He played a flute for us as we gazed up at the Eagles eye in the arch. He provided insight of the Navajo's way of life styles and beliefs. Take the morning tour as the afternoon tour can be hot.
