Bobby was a fantastic guide. Shared his knowledge about history, geology, plants, animals, Navajo traditions. Loved his photography suggestions and his playing of the flute. We never felt rushed. Descriptions of petroglyphs was so interesting.

Bobby showed up on the dot and had us loaded with time to spare. This was an open seating on a truck but it was shaded. The ride is a bit rough getting down to the valley from The View Motel where we met. We got to see places that you can only see in photographs but the experience and insight by Bobby on the culture and geography of the area made it so much better. There are a lot of tours going into the valley but not all of them get into the back country to see Eagle Eye or go into a hogan to see what that is like. Some of John Wayne's movies were done here including the Searchers and we were shown some of the places that were in that movie that you never see when you do the park loop tour. One thing that did happen to my wife and me was that the colors near the end of the tour were very vivid. The greens, reds and blues were unreal. But looking at the photographs later the colors are more muted. My thoughts are that you become sensitized to the colors and they become more vivid. That was really a wonderful effect. The 3 1/2 hours went by very fast. Thanks Bobby.

Our guide Bobby made the trip. Other tour guides just let the people out and stayed in truck. Bobby walk with, took pictures for us and gave us all the history
