What we saw was good, but we didn't go to nearly as many monuments as we had anticipated. I was there before, and saw many more on the same length of tour.

the safari was very nice!! I highly recommend it.It takes you deep into the valley where regular tourists driving on their own can't get to.I liked the John Smith area but everybody wanted a picture of the exact spot and due to time constraint--didn't get to enjoy the view very much but we saw more of the beauty of Monument Valley further on the tour.I would recommend it and I don't mind coming back..
Our tour guide,Comasheena Benally ,was very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the place and how the Navajo Indians lived..

Loved our backcountry tour with our Navajo Guide who was able to provide lots of insights to the customs of the Navajo people. Stops to visit a hogan and weaver were a special bonus.
