What To Expect
1
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area
You’d be hard-pressed to find vistas as stunning as these. At the western end of the Gorge, the view from Crown Point is a front-row seat to the mighty Columbia as its unfurls and cuts through the Cascade mountains. From there dozens of awe-inspiring waterfalls spill from basalt cliffs, lining the Historic Columbia River Highway, like the famous Multnomah, Bridal Veil and Latourell falls. The landscape seems to grow bigger, grander and brighter as it rolls east.
2
Portland Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint
The view is absolutely breathtaking and it's one of the best spots to soak in a view of one of the most beautiful places on earth: the magnificent, awesome Columbia River Gorge.
3
Wahkeena Falls
The 242-foot falls is a tiered type of waterfall, named after the Yakama word for "most beautiful". While not as tall as nearby Multnomah, it is no less lovely.
4
Vista House
The Vista House was built in 1917 on one of the most beautiful scenic points on the Historic Columbia River Highway. It was constructed to provide travelers a place to rest and refresh themselves as they made their way down the magnificent Columbia River Gorge.
5
Latourell Falls
Latourell Falls is a gorgeous waterfall that has the distinction of being the closest major waterfall of the Columbia River Gorge to the City of Portland. It possesses remarkable overhanging columnar basalt cliffs that allowes Latourell Creek to do a 249ft free-falling plunge with no contact with most of the underlying cliff, making it in one of the more unique such waterfalls in the gorge.
6
Multnomah Falls
A waterfall as magnificent and memorable as any in the country is located just a 30- minute drive outside of Portland. Visiting Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water, lets you experience the power and beauty of nature up close and with ease.
7
Horsetail Falls- Columbia River Gorge
Named for its characteristic form, Horsetail Falls plunges 176 feet within view of the Historic Columbia River Highway's "Waterfall Corridor".

This tour was packed with awesome views! Multnomah Falls was obviously the main attraction; however, I fell in love with the lesser known waterfalls that our guide took us to. I really loved this tour, but our guide's driving was a little nerve-wracking at times.

Hi Kaytlyn, I would like to know more about what concerned you about the Guides driving. Safety is extremely important to us and if you have concerns please reach out directly to the tour company instead of just leaving a vague review. Please email me with your concerns at [email protected] so that I can speak with the driver and have actual examples of what concerned you when I speak with him. Thank You
