Here are the reasons for rating it so low: - We got message from this touring company "ilimo" that they can not offer this tour because they do not have required number of people. They informed us when less than 24 hours were remaining and that time we were doing trekking in a area with very minimal network coverage. So, actually never went on this tour to see how mount Evans or Red rock looks. - They offered replacement tour to Pikes Peak, anyway in that short time, we can not find anything else. So signed up for that. - Pikes Peak was great(nature at it's best and it was a clear visibility day), but not our tour guide Hudson. Tour guide was rude person. - One of the location, while coming back to shuttle we were 5 minutes late (yes, it was our mistake, but sometimes coming back to uphill and souvenir billing lines takes time), he could have called us(as we do not have driver's number), we learnt that tour guide Hudson was telling other passengers that we can leave these guys here and they can take uber to come back. Pleas don't give me excuse like he might not have mobile tower, everyone else has. - This guy was mostly talking in high school lingo, which looks cool earlier but later realize(specially after his behavior) that age is just a number for him, actually he never grew out of his high school. I think an actual high school kid with few weeks of experience can do better in touring industry than our tour guide. Denver and nearby natural attractions are great, but do not spoil your experience by booking your tour through this company. Look for other options.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. We are glad to hear you found Pikes Peak to be beautiful as we have carefully chosen our stops to truly showcase the beauty of our state. As some of our guests have put it, this Pikes Peak tour is a bucket list tour. We are disappointed to hear you did not have a five-star experience during your tour. I can assure you we take our guests feedback very seriously. When we do not meet the minimum number of participants for a certain tour, we offer alternative options including a full refund. We always encourage our guests to confirm the status at any time as well. We strive to accommodate our guests during our group tours. Sometimes this can be challenging because this is a shared tour. In your particular case, your party was late multiple times throughout the tour, you returned 35 minutes late at the Pikes Peak Summit. 10 passengers waited in the vehicle for 35 minutes for your party and a few guests voiced their frustration to the guide, wanting to leave as scheduled. Instead, Hudson spent half an hour walking around the summit trying to locate you since there is no cell reception. Guides are instructed to spend 30 minutes at the summit of Pikes Peak for multiple reasons. 1- for safety reasons due to difficulty breathing at high elevations and we take our guests safety very seriously. 2- We are directed by the Pikes Peak Highway to limit our time at the summit to 30 minutes due to very limited parking, since we are one of the few companies with authorized access. We apologize if this may have inconvenienced you. That is one of the many reasons why we offer private tours. Private tours give the flexibility of being able to modify the itinerary, extend the tour since there is only one group participating. If you wish to discuss the matter further, please connect with me at [email protected]. Take care.

I can't tell you how much both my wife and I enjoyed our trip through Red Rocks and then on to Mt. Evans. Our guide, Hudson, is extremely well versed in the area and is very informative. The view from the peak was amazing and worth the drive to summit. The time flew by and we were returned to Denver before we knew, and were disappointed that it was over. I can, without hesitation, recommend the tour and the tour guide to anyone that asks.

We were visiting Colorado for a family wedding in August and couldn't do that without a trip to Mt Evans. Since many of us had never been to Colorado and for everyone to be able to see the sights we decided on a tour. After researching various tours we decided on this one due to the various stops that were part of the tour. We took the RTD out of Mineral Ave into downtown Denver which was an experience in itself but once we had it figured out it was the best plan due to the traffic and congestion. Due to construction we caught the RTD a bit later than we wanted to and were 5 minutes late hooking up with our tour guide, Hudson. He was very thoughtful to call my son to verify we were on our way, which we appreciated. Hudson was very knowledgeable about the various areas of our tour, pointing out different sights along the way as well as communicating about the history of the area. It was very apparent that he knows the area well and is very passionate about his job as a tour guide. Our 1st stop was Red Rocks Amphitheater. We were awestruck as it was amazing. We traveled through Clear Creek Whitewater Park which was a great photo opp. Then on to Idaho Springs where we stopped for a lunch break. Hudson recommended several local restaurants one of which we chose, Tommyknocker Brewery, The service and the food were both excellent. One thing I would recommend for this tour may be to have a little less time at Red Rocks and a little more time in Idaho Springs. It was a cute little town and we had just enough time to eat and not much time to walk through the town and maybe do some shopping. Once done there we were on to Mt. Evans. You just can't believe it until you see it. (I had been there before but years ago) Be aware that the road is very curvy and there are no guard rails. Definitely Gods country. Just beautiful. Takes your breath away. Hudson took us up as far as the road travels. North American's highest auto road. You can make it to the tippy top of Mt. Evans by foot but we decided we were high enough. Be sure to take advantage of the water and snacks offered by your tour guide. Especially the water. We did feel a bit light headed, needed to take it a bit slower than we normally would and take lots of breaks. Don't try to hurry around. Spent some time there then traveled to Summit Lake Park. Be sure to walk the trail here. At the end of the trail is another spectacular view. Then on to Echo Lake Park. The lake is beautiful and there is a cute little gift shop there. After that we were on our way back to our starting point in downtown Denver. Hudson sure made this trip enjoyable and educational. Very experienced and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.
