The actual coach tour is extensive, covering the Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse visitor sites combined with drives through the beautiful Black Hills National park scenery, including the 'eye of the needle' road with its 3 extremely narrow tunnels. We also rode through the Custer State Park and enjoyed a lunch ( not included in the tour price) at the Game Lodge, summer White House to presidents Coolridge and Eisenhower. There is plenty of time allowed at each stop over and the commentary during the journey provided by our driver, Matt, was lighthearted, interesting and very informative. Added to this, the day starts with an 'all you can eat' breakfast, the chance to learn about the the skills involved in rope making, tin plate work, and knife making, in buildings used on the film set of Dances with Wolves. The day is brought to a close with a filling evening meal followed by some excellent entertainment. All in all, it is a full 9 hour day which I would recommend to anyone.
