It is recommended to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes (hiking shoes preferred, in winter boots are best). In Nov – Jun, please dress for snowy conditions

The seasons, weather, and elevation partially determine what you’ll see on your tour. During the weekdays, mid October-April, there are limited food services available in the National Park. Customers will have an opportunity to purchase food en route. Also, the Henry M Jackson Visitor Center located at Paradise, has limited hours during these months. On weekdays when the Visitor Center is closed, our tour will still visit Paradise if road conditions allow. No refunds will be offered unless the park is closed

Lucas was our tour guide and he is fabulous. Had a great trip with plenty of stops for food, restrooms, and souvenirs. The bus is very comfortable and plenty of space. The Mountain is beautiful and had plenty of time at all the sites for pictures and snow shoeing. Lucas keep the bus close so if anyone was tired could rest on the warm bus. He gives a great history of the mountain and helped everyone take pictures. I recommend this trip to anyone. Lots of fun. The girls at work recommend the trip and so glad I went. Don't forget to take sun glasses.

To be clear, my PNW experience is limited to Washington State. However, from what I have seen of it and what I experienced on this tour, the best of it is there, at Mount Rainier. The tour was efficient and comprehensive, with hotel pickup in central Seattle, a stop at a grocery store for preparations, stops at different attractions (visitor's center, waterfalls, etc.), hiking weather permitting, a stop at a local cafe/restaurant for pie, and dropoff. Clean, well supplied van with reasonable COVID-19 cleaning protocols in place, and local, knowledgeable guide.
