It is recommended to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes (hiking shoes preferred, in winter boots are best). In Nov – Jun, please dress for snowy conditions

The seasons, weather, and elevation partially determine what you’ll see on your tour. During the weekdays, mid October-April, there are limited food services available in the National Park. Customers will have an opportunity to purchase food en route. Also, the Henry M Jackson Visitor Center located at Paradise, has limited hours during these months. On weekdays when the Visitor Center is closed, our tour will still visit Paradise if road conditions allow. No refunds will be offered unless the park is closed

The tour itself was pretty great. Our tour guide was awesome and so knowledgeable. It was a great time and I feel like we got to see so many things! My only recommendation would be to expand the pick up options to accommodate Airbnb or guests who stay with family better. If you are planning to get picked up from a park and ride, avoid Kent Park and Ride at all costs. We parked our rental at the Kent Park and Ride and returned to have found car parts stolen from our car with our car unable to even be driven. Maybe better pick up options would avoid this in the future?

We are glad to hear you had a great tour but are also saddened to hear of the unfortunate incident that happened with your rental car. We have used this location for years and have never had or heard of an issue until your review. Unfortunately we only have so much time to pick up our customers and having the driver trying to locate new pick-up locations would cause too many delays and frustrate those passengers already on the bus however now that this has been brought to our attention we will keep a better handle on what takes place at this location.

The tour was great - John was our tour guide and he was the best! All day tour covering a decent amount of Mt. Rainer. Highly recommend!

If you’re debating, this guided tour is so worth it. I am not an experienced hiker but I wanted the opportunity to hike. Joel took us up. It’s small groups now due to COVID-19 precautions. I learned that this is a family owned and operated business and it felt like my friend picked me up to show me around the home he loves. Mt. Rainier is unbelievably huge. I would have missed so much if I had tried to do it on my own.
