Our experience was perfect on the trip! Lucas, our tour guide was amazing. He was passionate and extremely knowledgeable. We were able to see waterfalls and lakes on a beautiful September day! Even had an amazing blueberry pie to go! I recommend this tour entirely. If you are beginner and are anxious. I promise this will be an experience you will never forget. You will feel as if you can conquer anything after this.

Mount Reinier was absolutely beautiful! But the experience was very much marred by the tour itself— the experience with our tour guide, Lucas, was extremely upsetting and horrifying. Lucas continuously made offensive and extreme political comments through the microphone— even after I’ve asked for him to please remain professional. He shared liberally his political opinions much than giving information on the national park. “Thank God for the death penalty!” he quipped about arsonists. “They should be executed.” He went into lengthy monologues about mask wearing being a conspiracy theory and why climate change really isn’t a reality. He told us his wife is very anti vaccination (they have 3 kids) and why the Covid antibody test is the government’s way of policing the citizens. On a tour, as the tour guide, he preached nonstop about his personal political Ideologies. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND SHOCKING. When I shared that I live in NY, he said: your governor should be in prison. Without even knowing my governor’s name. He was unprofessional to say the least, extremely immature and rude, having regard for no one but himself, and dismissed all of my requests that he stay off politics.
