the worst!! will probably never get back to that part of California and to cancel booking at the last minute seriously disappointed us!! It was one of the reasons for the trip. I will never give you a positive rating to anyone I know!

The good. The tour guide was hilarious and knowledgeable. Brief extra tour stop at Golden Gate Bridge was a wonderful addition. Muir Woods was beautiful and peaceful. The bad. Thereā€™s nothing really in Sausalito. Just a marina and shops selling the same tourist rubbish you can get in San Fran. Wouldnā€™t book with GrayLine again. They changed my tour from 11am to 8am without telling me. Itā€™s only because I was treated this way by GrayLine previously in Las Vegas in 2017 that I knew to check with them multiple times and especially on the day before the tour. Really poor behaviour by a tour company. The person in the office said my tour was cancelled because only 3 others had booked. When I got the email from the main office later that day (to inform me of the change) the excuse was ā€˜Muir Woods arenā€™t issuing permits for 11amā€™. Hmmm. Translates to ā€˜we donā€™t want to apologise for messing up your day to save ourselves some money so letā€™s blame someone else and hope the client doesnā€™t find outā€™. The next day whilst I was in the office waiting for the tour bus; a couple arrived for their booked tour and were surprised to be told their tour was completely cancelled. Sad for them that they had no idea this is how GrayLine operate. Also when got to Muir Woods it was free but the cost of this experience includes entry ticket cost. I asked Muir Woods and they said MLK day is always free. A large tour company like GrayLine would know. I asked for a refund. Funny, not received a response.

Tiana, our tour guide, was funny, witty, and very knowledgeable. The trees are majestic and awe inspiring. Staff at the National Park was friendly and helpful. There is a nice little cafe by the gift shop. The line-caught tuna sandwich was very good.
