Tour was easy to find and started at 9:30 so we had plenty of time to have breakfast before it started. There are a number of places to eat in the area. We toured some highlights of the city and then crossed the Golden Gate Bridge for lunch in Sausolito, which is a quant little town. The restaurants are busy but very accommodating to tours. We finished the afternoon in Muir Woods with a short hike . It was incredible. Our tour guide was great and gave us a lot of information pertaining to what we were seeing.

We were recently on a Pacific coast cruise with a port stop in San Francisco. As we've been to SF many times, we wanted to do something different. We booked a Muir Woods/Sausalito tour with GrayLine. After a rough crossing from Santa Barbara to San Francisco, our ship arrived later than planned, which made us miss our tour. We took an Uber to the GrayLine office and was able to contact the bus driver for his location. We planned to meet Antonio at the Muir Woods parking lot to catch up with the tour. We actually beat him there! We weren't 100% after our rocky boat ride and my daughter noticed some wheelchairs behind the gift shop. We borrowed one (no charge) and headed down the path. If you go to the right, there are benches and places to sit along the way. Better path for mobility challenges. There's a cafe and gift shop a bit down the path but we didn't have time to check it out. The paths can be a tad bit bumpy in a wheelchair, which didn't help our still rocking stomachs. But we did go quite a ways down the paths to see the tall trees (tallest tree is 276 feet tall!) It's damp in the woods, as very little sunshine can make it through the tree canopy so dress accordingly and wear comfortable walking shoes. All too soon it was time to head back to the bus and over to Sausalito. We decided to forego the ferry, as we needed more 'land time' before returning to our ship. We sat by the water and enjoyed a quick sandwich from nearby before returning to SF. Our driver was just awesome. His bus was even decorated for the holidays!

Dear Diane R, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on your experience with us. Although I regret your cruise arrived late, I am happy to know you could finally join our tour! Is is a pleasure to know you had such a great time in Muir Woods through its majesty of the redwoods and also to know you enjoyed the charm of Sausalito village before taking the ferry back to the city. We hope to be your first choice every time you visit the area and to welcome you again soon. Kind regards, Manager at Gray Line of San Francisco
