Mush Your Own Sled Dog Team (Summer/Fall Tour)

Overview
This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

This was by far the most rewarding experience anyone could ask for. Ibi spent so much time educating us about dog sledding, the Iditarod, and the training and all the work involved. This is a top of the ladder organization and ibi@teams Todd are is the best anyone could ask for. I highly recommend this experience to all.

It was a wonderful experience, especially for my 11 year old twin granddaughters, who love dogs. Their 78 year old grandpa was lucky enough to be able to safely drive the cart pulled by four huskies. It was one of the highlights of our Alaska trip.

This was THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I loved the entire experience of meeting the dogs and cuddling the puppies. All of the dogs were well cared for and well socialized. The best part was driving the four dog sled! Talk about POWER!!! I can only imagine what a full team on snow would feel like. I would highly recommend this experience from this company. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

I say the same thing, THE POWER! 14 dogs at Iditarod time is pretty exciting to see leave the dog yard. Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you again. Come see us in the winter and try out a dog sled.
