Hear the quintessential ghost stories that locals have grown up with, background on the pirates who were said to have frequented the local shores 300 years ago, and historical commentary on the influential families who lived in the area and helped shape our nation's history. This 2-hour narrated tour serves as an introduction to wonderful places that we will be passing by that you'll want to come back and visit, while conveying a great deal of local folklore and history along the way. BRIEF STOPS, where passengers will hop off for just a FEW MINUTES, include The Pawleys Island Hammock Shops Village and at a photo-worthy overlook in Murrells Inlet. What To Expect

Brookgreen Gardens

We will make a brief stop at The Gardener's Cottage which is Brookgreen Garden's information center (there is no restroom at this stop) to get an overview of the gardens and information on how to best enjoy this world-class destination.

The Hammock Shops Village

Guests will visit the Hammock Weavers studio and meet a legendary local artisan who will show them how the world famous Pawleys Island hammocks are made. Restrooms are available before returning to the trolley.

Murrells Inlet

The trolley will pause for a photo opportunity of a panoramic view of Murrells Inlet, SC, that looks, in part, much like it did 300 years ago when pirates were among the inlet's visitors. There is no restroom at this stop.

The speaker knew her history but it was not a fun excursion for us. Hard to hear her and the stories were long. Not our cup of tea

So sorry that the tour was not up to your expectation and that you had difficulty hearing which is why we share at the the beginning a simple hand signal to use if you ever can't hear due to traffic noise, etc. We can certainly turn up the volume at any moment. We try to emphasize as much as we can that this experience is not about spending time at attractions although we do make three brief stops. It is mostly about the folklore and history of our area that you are not going to hear anywhere else. There is a lot to tell and for those who enjoy that type of thing, it's fun...my guests tell me that repeatedly. The tour also serves an introduction to historic sites in the area that you may want to return to for a visit. I have loved these places and stories literally all of my life and hope that my guests will as well.

Tour guide was great and had knowledge of pirate and ghost stories. Bus driver very helpful to passengers. Must add the bus was beautiful. They have several different tours so you should be able to find the perfect one for your group. Enjoyable!!

We had an amazing time ! The guide was incredible and had a wealth of knowledge! I learned so much about local and National history ! I also got to hear about local ghost story’s and lore which I love !! This was incredible, I would highly recommend it !! I plan to look into other offerings through them the next time I come to Myrtle Beach !!
