Before our vacation, my husband and I knew we were going to take this tour. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach, we called Charleston Adventures to take the May 7th tour package. The reservation process was super simple. We met the bus at Dillard’s and the driver from Sunway motor coach was AMAZING! He was so professional, fabulous personality and informative. We left right on time ready to start out scenic journey of Charleston, South Carolina, for a day of sightseeing, shopping and dining. First stop was the Palmetto Carriage Works Tour. Our tour guide was beyond entertaining and informative. Wish we could ask for him again. Our horse was from our area (PA horse, retired) driving our carriage thru the historic old city of magnificent homes and gardens. We browsed the open-air Market were I purchased some artwork. Then off to the Charleston Harbor to board the Carolina Belle for a history cruise of the harbor. The favorite was the next stop at the Boone Hall Plantation. The historic brick slave cabins, a smoke house and a cotton gin. The history was amazing. The southern elegance and charm. This was a five out of five-star experience.

This was my first bus tour. The trip was so much more than I expected. My friends and I enjoyed the trip so much we will all do it again in the near future. Our bus driver Doug Smith was friendly and very knowledgeable. The whole experience was well priced and enjoyable. We had a blast. I highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to visit Charleston South Carolina.

The horse carriage ride and the cruise cover a lot of history. The guides are very knowledgeable with details. The lunch given on the cruise was trash. Also inspite of specifying chicken sandwich for lunch they exhausted chicken and were left with no choice but ham. But no biggie about it. The Boone Hall Plantation was a good experience too. Lot of history with civil war there. I think it covers a lot of different stuff to do., is a very long day. I had my 12 and 9 year olds with me who enjoyed the day.
