We did the day tour from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, and we loved it! It was the perfect length of time, and a great combination of many different sites. Lunch was handed to us as we boarded the boat for the Harbor Tour. Everything was well organized, and we spent the perfect amount of time in each place. Billy was a fun and informative tour guide. My teenage daughters loved it, too. Highly recommend!

A definite must if you’re visiting the Charleston or Myrtle Beach area! This tour includes a fabulous horse carriage ride down the streets of Charleston, Time to go through the famous Charleston market, a harbor tour where you get to view Fort Sumter and a plantation visit where are you can go inside the house, the slave cabins and gardens. All guides at each stop are very knowledgeable and friendly

This tour consisted of 3 different approximately one hour tours of Charleston and a bus ride from/to Myrtle Beach. The first tour was by horse and buggy in a wagon containing 12-16 people. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The City of Charleston randomly chooses which area you will tour so be aware if this is not your first time. Next we were on a boat tour of the harbor. This included a box lunch (sandwich chips and a soda). We cruised by Fort Sumter but did not get off. The third tour was of the Boone Plantation, an Antebellum rice plantation (still an active farm today). We were free to tour on our own or join one of the guided tours of the first floor rooms of the manor house, presented by the plantation. Also, beautiful gardens and former slave quarters could be toured. The unfortunate part of the day was the fact that the bus A/C stopped working about half way through the trip. Because the outdoor temp was in the low 90's this made for a very hot return. One passenger called the tour company and the bus company and was told there was nothing that could be done. It would have been nice if they offered something to compensate us for the inconvenience.
