The bus trip to Charleston was very nice and the driver was excellent. We enjoyed the Carriage Tour, Harbor Tour and Plantation Tour. It was a bird's eye view of Charleston and a fun day. My only suggestion is that you should allow at least an hour to walk through the Slave Market. I walked from one end to the other quickly and it took 30 minutes. There was not enough time to shop for anything!. The box lunch was okay but chips or pickles would have been better than the fruit cup. I looking forward to taking another trip with you at Christmas.

This day trip was very enjoyable. The carriage ride was informative and something out of the ordinary. Our guide Justin was outstanding. Thankfully the boat did have inside seating with air conditioning, which made eating our lunch comfortable. Some of the same information was repeated, but this is expected as not everyone on the sailing was on the full day tour. The visit to Boone Plantation was a perfect ending to our tour. Had the weather been cooler, we would have been better able to walk to more areas of interest. Bring an umbrella to combat the hot sun and closed shoes for walking in the sandy/ grassy areas of the plantation. Understanding the time constraints to travel with rush hour delays in mind, it would have been nice to have more time in the market. This trip is a great overview of the highlights of Charleston. I would love to return to the city to spend more time in each of the highlights. Highly recommended day trip!
