My mom and I took this trip from Myrtle Beach spending the whole day in Charleston. It was very informative - the carriage ride tour guide was very knowledgeable and the horses/donkeys were well taken care of. They love their work!!! The boat cruise was also excellent and we had a nice box lunch on board. By the time we got to the Booth Plantation, the temp reached 92 and we were starting to drag. It was a beautiful house (main level only open to public) and we had a tractor wagon ride around the whole plantation. I would suggest only doing this when the weather is a little more tolerable. There were kids of all ages. Great value for all you get!

Very interesting day learning about charleston and all it has to offer with carriage ride, boat trip and plantation tour.

all day tour of area-we took a bus from myrtle beach to charleston. The horse drawn buggy ride was informative and slow enough to see it all. Next was the boat tour,delicious lunch from Ted's Butcherblock-excellent quality. final was a tour of Boone Plantation-absolutely beautiful-speakers were gracious and knowledgeable. The bus driver was friendly and also helpful with suggestions how to best enjoy the excursion.
