We arrived and it ended up that the Trolley had a mechanical problem so we had to take a limo bus. It was a 90 degree day so it was ok and nice to have the air conditioning. Jose was a great, fun guide. We first visited Whitehall Vineyard and had a tour. Patrick was very informative and we learned alot. We then went to Pestori and that was great. The chocolate merlot fudge sauce is delicious, paired with the red wines. The lunch was very good at Pestore. Merryvale was another vineyard as well as Andretti. I am mostly a chardonnay drinker and found that most of the vineyards served reds, but I did partake and discovered that I liked the Sauvignon Blancs and the pinot noir. Napa is know for Cabernet Sauvignon. I knew going in that we had to pay for the tastings and I was fine with that.

I am very sorry about the mechanical issue but we are so happy that you found that as a benefit. I always recommend to people to try the wines at the wineries. Sometimes it will surprise you to what they have to offer.

it was my 50th birthday celebration with my besties and my sissies. we originally were going to go on the wine train but opted for the trolley for the open air experience and the cost. there were 7 of us and our driver/tourguide/new friend is David. The wineries were nice; the final one, Mario Andretti's was especially welcoming and beautiful!! David had fun music and a plethora of knowledge..so much to be said for an entertaining, caring guide. all in all, would recommend. Now, it was very chilly when we first started out, so bring a little travel blanket with you!! :)

Enjoyed the open air trolley. Went to 4 wineries: Pestoni, Whitehall Lane, Can't remember the 3rd one, and Andretti (owned by Mario Andretti). The only one that had a sweet white wine (which is the only kind I like) was Andretti. Cost $40 for the bottle but it was good. Pricey for tastings at all of the wineries (avg of $25/tasting). Lunch from Fig & the Girl was good. Trolley driver Dave was excellent.
