Enjoy the wind in your air as you take in the beautiful sights and smells of Napa wine country. Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

Napa Valley

Your hosts will explain the different varietals you taste and give you a background on the wineries (wine-tasting fees are not included; fees range between USD$25 and $40). Stop for lunch catered by Ottimo, award winning Chef Michael Chiarello's Italian Eatery and tasting room. Enjoy gourmet sandwiches, side salads, and desserts. All served family style! You’ll have plenty of wonderful photo opportunities throughout your tour, and your guide will be happy to take a photo of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country. We had a fun time on the trolley and Richard was great. Being a native to Napa he was very knowledgeable and informative as well as lots of fun. We went to 4 wineries, Pestoni (they have wonderful chocolate merlot wine fudge sauce), Whitehall Lane, Provenance Vineyard and Andretti. We had several in our group that were not drinkers or didn’t want to do tastings at all the stops and each tasting was $25 pp. (This really adds up fast, especially for couples.) Some wineries allowed couples to share; however, BEWARE that at Whitehall Lane the cost was $25 pp which included four tastings, a tour and a place to sit and eat our lunch, which was NOT OPTIONAL and NOT DISCLOSED anywhere prior to the trip! The wine was terrible and most people threw it away. We were very put off with the fact that no disclosure was made for the cost of a required tour and cost to use the winery to sit and eat our lunch.

Thank you for the review and I apologies for the surprise. The driver and the tasting associate, if they didn't, they should have told you up front that you did not have to do the tour or tasting and could have waited at the lunch area while the group did the tour and tasting. Reach out to me personally and I would be happy to discuss.

I entertained 2 colleagues this week on a wine trolley tour and the trolley departed before we arrived at the arrival point! The departure time is marked 10:30 THREE times on the reservations and only ONCE (buried in the PRINT) it says 10:15 on the printable ticket!!! We had to take an Uber at my expense to catch up to it. Then, I was surprised to have tasting fees that were not included at each stop. Again all buried in the PRINT. The trolley driver CONFIRMED this "Happens all the time".

Thank you for your review and I am very sorry about your disappointment. The tour does start at 10:30 but it does not pick up or depart at that time. We actually start our pick ups at 9:30 and the last is from 10:00 am - 10:15. It is actually listed in bold on your reservation confirmatikon. We also list that the tasting fees are not included in the tour on the site, on the FAQ pages, on your reservation and two reminders 72 hours and 24 hour before the tour. However many people don't read the confirmation email or website before the trolley leaves. Unfortunately the 15 other people we picked up read their email confirmation and knew to be at the pick up spot on time.If we had waited for you we would have made all of them upset. We also call our guests before we leave to see if they can make it. I'm very sorry that it did not work out for you and would be happy to reimburse you for your uber.

We had a great time on the trolley and going to the wineries. Our driver Dave was great and made the day fun. We met new friends and got visit wineries we hadn't been to before. The lunch from the Girl and the Fig was great. I would recommend the trolley if you want a relaxing day without having to drive.
