Experience the Napa wine region in a unique way – on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley. Hop aboard the Original San Francisco Cable Car Wine Tour, a historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour.

The Up Valley Castle Tour heads north on a San Francisco Cable Car to Calistoga. The first stop is at Castello di Amorosa, a winery modeled after a 13th-century Tuscan castle for an extensive tasting. You will then enjoy an lunch at the famous Tre Vigne Pizzeria followed by stops at two other notable Napa Valley wineries. A knowledgeable guide will provide fun facts and information about Napa’s famous wines.

Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. The Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change tour stops at any time

What To Expect

V Marketplace

After pickup from your designated meeting point in Yountville, your Napa Valley Wine Trolley tour takes you north on Highway 29, the scenic St Helena Highway. Make yourself comfortable in the open-air motorized trolley, and listen to commentary from your guide as you enjoy the fresh air and vineyard views during the drive up to the St Helena and Calistoga areas. After about 30 minutes, you’ll reach your first of three wineries, Castello di Amorosa.

Great experience! Jose was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge of the Napa area. Each stop had fantastic wine and vibes. It was a rainy day, so we did not get the trolley, but instead we got a VIP style sprinter van. No one from our group minded, and it kept us warm.

Our driver was fantastic the only issue is the cost of each winery $59 for a wine tasting and entrance in the castle and they give you a sheet to choose the wines but the woman serving us kept saying she had a better selection. Out of her 5 choices we only liked one and non drinkers have to pay the same price. The other wineries were great
