Disappointing since we only went to ONE Castle. We already had booked wine tasting for the next day. And I the price for tastings was over overpriced.

We apologize that you were disappointed by the Up Valley Castle Tour. We do only visit one castle, as it is the only castle winery in the Napa Valley.

Ending with a small family on winery where we had time with the actual wine maker (Backstage) was really awesome. In addition, the time at Raymond vineyard was really great. We had time to walk through their eco-friendly environment and actually taste grapes off the vine. So much diversity from vineyard to vineyard. Really a great time and the trolly driver was fun as well.

Traveling 50-70 mph in an open air trolley while listening to ceaseless inane babbling about who lived where and location of Safeway. Then have to pay more than $200 each for tastings. When all done we could do the train tour for a much better experience. The wines were great and the views spectacular but you can do it on your own.

We're sorry that you didn't enjoy the guided tour, and are unsure why Safeway would have been talked about. Being an open-air vehicle, it may seem as if you are travelling at higher speeds than you are. The trolley doesn't exceed 40 MPH. We're glad that you enjoyed the wines and the views.
