The Trolley tour was wonderful except maybe they should cut it short to the castle and lunch. Wine tasting was more than sufficient at the castle and I think it was a bit short. The lunch provided was very tasteful and abundant. The rest of the tour was tiresome and redundant. No other wine tasting establishment could compare to the castle.
I loved the Trolley car and host. He was on time and very informative. He was really a great host and very courteous. I also loved the Castle tour and host Gary he was excellent and very generous with his time and tastings. I enjoyed the lunch very much and the nice patio area at Franciscan Estate. The tastings were okay and host not the greatest, but not bad. I really did not like the last stop at Provenance Vineyards Winery. I was expecting more since it was a small winery. The tastings were the worst off all barely 1 sip and did not like the wine. Could not order other wines. Very expensive for what you got at this winery. 20.00 per person and did not even get an equivalent of 1 glass of wine. I was also disappointed that Viator what you can expect included Cairdean Estate and Beringer Vineyards which we did not go to.
We were picked up on time, our guide was knowledgeable and fun. Learned a lot and drank some fantastic wine.
