Experience the Napa wine region in a unique way – on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley. Hop aboard the Original San Francisco Cable Car Wine Tour, a historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour.

The Up Valley Castle Tour heads north on a San Francisco Cable Car to Calistoga. The first stop is at Castello di Amorosa, a winery modeled after a 13th-century Tuscan castle for an extensive tasting. You will then enjoy an lunch at the famous Tre Vigne Pizzeria followed by stops at two other notable Napa Valley wineries. A knowledgeable guide will provide fun facts and information about Napa’s famous wines.

What To Expect

After pickup from your designated meeting point in Yountville, your Napa Valley Wine Trolley tour takes you north on Highway 29, the scenic St Helena Highway. Make yourself comfortable in the open-air motorized trolley, and listen to commentary from your guide as you enjoy the fresh air and vineyard views during the drive up to the St Helena and Calistoga areas. After about 30 minutes, you’ll reach your first of three wineries, Castello di Amorosa.

The trolley tour was so much fun! Our driver/tour guide Gy was entertaining, knowledgeable and fun!! The castle tour and tasting was our favorite part and the food was delish! thank you for a great time!! cheers!

Initially had issues where the trolley passed us up at one of the pick-up points. However, was resolved by having a private car come pick us up to meet up with the trolley at stop 1. The castle tour was amazing with the tasting included in the price but would have liked to have known ahead of time the other wineries we were scheduled to stop at since we did not find the tasting prices to be worth their cost 20 at one and 25 at the other.
