What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

Trolleys operate on a 20-minute pickup schedule from 9:00am to 4:30pm for your convenience. Find a seat and begin your 1.5-hour tour of the history of Savannah. If not familiar with Savannah, this is the best way to get an overview of the quaint city. We took the 1.5 hour stay-on tour but you can opt for an on-and-off tour for a few dollars more. "Little Steve" gave us lots of local history, which also feature historic characters which boarded the trolly at various stops to give us a little history on our particular spot. At tours end, Elva helped us back-track to great walking streets downtown.

Our driver/tour guide, named Horizon, was not only a great historian, she also kept us laughing throughout the tour. It was a lot of fum, and we learned a great deal about the history and culture of old Savannah. I highly recommend this tour.

I've done the hop on and off bus in various cities and loved it. But in Savannah I only had a morning. Thos was perfect! It gave me a taste of what Savannah had to offer in a short period of time. Our driver was great and this tour had a few "actors" that got on the bus and acted out parts of people who lived in Savannah. It's a definite tour to take, though if I'd had more time I would have done the hop on and off tour.
