What To Expect

We took the tour and didn't use the hop-on-hop-off feature, but certainly would have if time had allowed. This company does a really good job of immersing you in the history of Savannah, and includes costumed participants at some stops to enhance the experience- a clever and well-done addition in our opinion. This is worth your time just for the tour ( appx. 100 minutes), but add the hop-on feature so that you can walk around and explore some of the stops, like the cemetery, more deeply. Its only a few dollars difference in price and really makes for a very convenient means of seeing the district without wearing yourself out or getting frustrated by late uber drivers or sketchy cab service.

We took this tour at the beginning of our visit to the city. It's a great way to see the various sites around and decide what you want to go back and see after the tour is over. Our guide, Donnie, was wonderful. Very energetic and full of information! Several actors got onto the tour bus and acted out their roles...including Forrest Gump! Be sure to get the coupon out of the map from the Visitor's Center to save some money!!!

Interesting tour- exploring many parts of Savannah historic area. Guide was very entertaining. Actors jumped onto the tour bus and provided different perspectives of what we saw. $3 off coupon is available in the free Savannah map available at the visitor center.
