What To Expect

I was in town for the marathon and it was a great tour as walking for me wasn't an option. I enjoyed the drive (Donnie) who knew quite a lot and was very enthusiastic. My only complaint has to do with the taxi sent to get me from my hotel as it seemed it was his first time driving and I had to use the GPS on my phone to get to the starting area (so that's more on the taxi company). Other than that, I really liked this because the last stop was right at my hotel. There were 3 characters on the tour and they were great too.

Boy, did we make the right choice with this tour company!! "Tammy with a T" was our tour guide, the best in the business!! She was hilarious, quite informative, knowing her history backwards and forwards. The details she's acquired and shares with you are astonishing. It's a 90 minute tour that's packed with history. The historical district is easy to navigate, as you will want to go back to various landmarks once the tour is finished. What a beautiful area !!

Our group of 4 ladies, ages 67-83, chose to stay on the bus. It was WONDERFUL! Our guide MIKE and driver ETHEL were THE BEST! Smooth ride, no jerks or sudden stops. Mike was VERY informative, adding anecdotes and fun stories in with loads of facts as we went around the city. We could tell he loves his job and takes pride in his depth of Savannah knowledge. “Characters” at various stops added to the fun. Highly recommend!
