The tour lived up to all my expectations.
Very well organised and on time. Lots of free time and it never felt rushed.

1) The coach which you travel on, is great. Toilet and power. It would be nice if this was in the info, i struggled with my phone battery all day.
The tour was OK although I didn't see a big difference in the VIP part. The biggest callout was the organization in getting to the tour bus. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and the pick up to get on the tour bus was a mess. The only information we had on the voucher was to be in the lobby by 6:30 am for a 7 am pick up. We were there by 6:25 am and no one seemed to know anything. There was a huge disconnect on where the pick up was actually going to take place. There was a sign that read go to the Magnolia canopy and when we got to the Magnolia canopy the sign read go to the main Cascades lobby. We ended up missing the pick up and another shuttle was sent to pick us and another couple up. They had the the same experience with not having the correct pick up information. We were told that it would be fine as the tour bus had broken down. We found out later that this was a lie.
We got to the tour bus late and the other passengers were pretty hostile, understandably so as they thought we were the culprits in making the tour start late. Since we were the last people on the bus, there were no seats together and because we were the late people there was not a lot of pleasantness from our fellow passenger. This made the 4 hour bus ride pretty miserable.
Firstly a big THANK YOU to Tonya who was our tour guide. She was simply amazing. Kept everyone entertained on the coach and was very knowledgeable about the tour.
This was a great trip and if you are an Elvis fan I would highly recommend it. Graceland is split into two parts - the house on one side of the road and then the car/motorbike museum, outfits and movie memorabilia on the other. There are also decent places to eat on the complex. We ate in Vernons and for a fast food restaurant it was very good. This was then followed by a trip to Sun Studios which was so interesting and will make the hairs stand on your arms when the play original recordings of Elvis. Makes you feel like you are part of history!
We then headed to Beale Street although we stayed away from the actual street as it was slightly intimidating due to the large amount of people/gangs and heavy police presence. We headed to the Peabody and watch the duck parade which was very amusing.
Unfortunately there was a problem with the air con on the bus so we had to get it fixed before we set back to Nashville. Thanks to Tonya and some people on the trip they got it fixed and we were on our way.
Would definitely recommend.
