National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

We really enjoyed our visit to the museum. We aren’t Corvette owners or even big car fans (I suspect it would be even more interesting if you are), but we found it fascinating. We are glad we went. We did the guided tour and recommend that for the extra information provided. By the time we got to the sky dome , they were setting up for a private event that night and that detracted somewhat from our experience. If you are passing through nearby, do yourself a favor and stop. It might not be a great experience with kids.

Thank you for your visit and support of the National Corvette Museum. We're glad you found the guided tour informative, and we apologize for any inconvenience the setup in the Skydome caused. With the addition of the nine-foot-tall, 300-foot-long LED wall, that room has been popular with rentals. Next time, please stop in our McMichael Family Education Gallery, which is geared for kids of all ages, and includes a replica Studio X and our Design a Corvette interactive.

The Corvette Museum is a fascinating snapshot of US automotive history. Be sure to take the guided tour to better learn the "rest of the story" of why Corvettes have become a mystical part of our car culture. Miss Victoria gave a detailed account of the Corvette and the Museum. Bravo!

My Husband and I are very big car enthusiasts, and I absolutely love corvettes, so we made this a must see stop on our trip. I’m glad we did! The tickets aren’t that expensive, and the tours they offer are amazing! Victoria did our tour, and she was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Her jokes were very funny and when I come back we will definitely sing with the great acoustics in the cave. They also gave you earbuds to listen to the tour easier. It’s a sensory inclusive experience, and I think that’s great.
