What To Expect

National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car. Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum. As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership. You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs. Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes. The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items. An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Worth the trip, enjoyed the information about the sinkhole. Paid extra for the guided tour, definitely happy we heard the summaries instead of reading all the posted signage. 1983 One corvette was my fav, how unique!

I grew up always admiring the Corvette. The Museum gives you a great place to see the Eras of the Vette and how it changed from one to the other. The history of the car is well done. The exhibits are well done and are for all ages. Probably one of the neatest things is seeing people come and pick up their cars. They get a personalized introduction to the vehicle by a qualified expert. A pretty neat deal. The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the overall experience is very good. Well worth the time and the price.
